continued along the same vein for the remainder of the match. To say it
was hard is an understatement. A few fish were being caught, and lost
which brings me back to Dick Tranter or Dickie T as he is known to us.
Dick hooked and lost six carp on that Little reptile pool. If he had
landed them he most certainly would have main framed. Instead Dick weighed
2 lb 7 oz. You see weights were not that great, as you will see from the
results table below.

Richard
fed very sparingly across to the features on the far side. Using single
red maggot he caught steadily throughout the day. While doing so he fed a
little corn down the track every now and again before moving over it in
the last hour, catching better stamp of fish. His net consisted of a
mixture of fish including Roach, small carp, tench and a single skimmer.
