i had drawn a nice peg with a big tree behind it which made casting a method feeder a little tricky but i soon found a way had loads of phatom bites to start with where you get a indication you strike (doesn't matter how i tried many veriations)you feel it on the line then it vapourises into thin air,so i adjusted my rig untill i caught a couple (i was begining to think nigel had issued all the fish with gum shield as i was struggling to get a hookhold and i know my hooks where sharp as i've a thumb like a teabag where i kept testing them,i was expecting bad weather but all we got was a bit of drizzle and a cooling breaze (LOL) the food and company was again great got to put a few names to faces well had no choice really as i was taking names of all the entrants LOL,and i still carn't remember a single one my short term memory must be getting better though as i only had to ask myself for my name twice !LOl.and a big thanks to nigel for another great organised event and for taking great care of us and not forgetting the chips!.
