Default Salmon till your arms hurt and much more

Hello to all the anglers from the talk angling website.

I am a fishing guide from B.C. , Canada, located in the Fraser Valley in Chilliwack. I fish the Fraser River as well as the Harrison River and many other local waters.
I currently guide alot of UK anglers during the year and would like to make other anglers from this region aware of what I have to offer.

I provide full service angling holidays, arranging all aspects of your trip.
We pick you up at Vancouver international airport and take you to one of many local accomodation options we have access to. We recieve discount on accomodations and pass this off to you with no profit to us.
We are both flyfishing and gear fishing experts and can teach new anglers to catch fish with either method in mere hours.
We fish for Salmon, Sturgeon, Steelhead and Trout on both Rivers and stillwaters. Most of our UK clients come for either Salmon fishing or Sturgeon fishing and most often both.
We have 5 species of pacific salmon available to anglers and some run in the millions.
We flyfish for Coho, sockeye, Chum and pink salmon and gear fish for all 5 species, with Kings(Chinook) being mostly caught on Stout gear, as these beasts are a major handful. That being said we do target Chinooks with the flyrod, but prefer anglers bring their own gear for this as these fish destroy our gear badly.

This season 2007 is a Pink salmon year, these fish only run every odd year(2003,2005,2007....) and they are to return this year to the tune of 20 million fish. To say the river boils with them is an understatement. They are exceptional biters and fighters on light fly and gear rods and your arms will grow tired fisghting these silvery salmon. Pinks average 5-6 pounds and many will reach the 8 pound mark.

The best time for pinks is from the last week of August till the first week of October, of note here is that the King salmon also run heavy at this time and Sturgeon fishing is nothing short of brilliant during the whole fall salmon season.

As a bonus to this is the fact the nearby Harrison river is chock full of Sockeye salmon from early September till mid October and my company has discovered a method of catching these fish that cannot be rivalled. 100 fish before lunch is quite common when we are dialed on sockeye. Unlike other area guides who employ snagging techniques with many species, we do not condone or tolerate such behaviour and offer our clients only ethical and sporting adventures, they deserve no less.

As the Pink salmon runs wind down we are busy chasing King salmon and the hard fighting, tackle testing Chum salmon. These aggressive fish also return by the millions and are willing biters on both fly rods and gear rods. The Chum run stays strong until mid November.

Late in October we start to see the Coho salmon arrive. These amazing game fish are spectacular fighters and take to the air when hooked. Often we target Coho with our custom tied flies and light fly rods(7-8 weights). They also respond well to metal lures and twitched jigs(a method one must learn to appreciate).
The Coho stay strong until December, when our season comes to a close.

We also offer many other fishing opportunities to compliment the ones I have mentioned. Summer and Winter run Steelhead are also available as well as lake and remote river trips for Rainbow trout and species such as Bull trout and cutthroat trout.
