Some pegs turn up a bigger average as on Sunday i had 10 weighers from 9lb 12oz to 16lb 8oz along with 4 babies in the nets (about 3lb a piece) for 143lb.
As the others have said tops with number 1 out are fine and Red Hydro (to stretchy for me) or 20 to 25 solid set soft is better than lower grade elastics.
If you need help with any of the other rules just ask as a few on here fish it often.
Just remember it is NOT as easy a water as people think and it's still possible to come away with little to show for your efforts.
