im in stoke on trent and fairly new to pole fishing but thanks to a read up on the article by fred, it wont take long to master this (yeah we all say that
). I have been fishing for some years now, and am always open for advice and tips from all, whether new or veteran, we all learn and teach, so feel free to make me a match winner, im not doing too well at it myself haha.
I have the basics down, and am conversant with paste etc (i remember the old fashioned 'trout paste' i wonder how many here are old enough for that haha), but these new baits and flavours are still a little mysterious, like, what flavour is best for which fish, venue, time of season, temerature, up in the water, bottom, etc etc etc. i welcome all and any advice.
Anyway, hi all, and thanks for a great forum, some articles and threads are real interesting.
