Yes each site should have a coordinator, whose role should be to receive and pass on information to and from other coordinators, this should eliminate any miss understandings and give a clear chain of communication.
I fully agree to the addition of a further forum that forum should be Anglers Talk, who before commiting to joining the Intersite series should understand the need to be able to attend all the matches organised.
I dont see that TF Club is an additional forum but an extension to TF.
Since the control of the Intersite series was passed on by Webbo of Maggot Drowners TA has run the Midlands match, 2006 was at Heronbrook 2007 at Stockton, the Midlands is where TA is at its strongest membership wise. We are not exactly at a strong point in the West although I was happy to run the Match at Hillview and given a similar venue would be happy to do it again.
Team size does need fixing be it 8 or 10 this allows the organisor a clear understanding of how many pegs would be required.
Venues are another bone of contention and whilst I like Stockton it would appear that it is a peggy venue with some areas being somewhat devoid of fish at certain times of the day, as was seen in 2007 with many only catching very low weights. With only some 60 plus pegs Stockton would be a poor choice in my opinion for a fifty peg match thats assuming BWB allows all of the water to be used.
I have no problem using the loan angler principal having fished for TF twice last year, but it should be accepted that any forum entering the series can not rely on this and should be able to fulfill the original commitment, ok if there is a shortfall on the day but using another forums anglers only denies the loaning forum the ability to use those anglers should they have a no show on the day.
I also believe that cut off dates require implementing for each round, by which time the peg fee at least should be paid, and not leave the organiser with the problem of empty pegs. I was still chasing payments in the week of one of the matches I ran last year and had to adjust pools payouts on the day to cover eventual non shows.
