Default Central Heating

Help needed off you heating engineers.

Had a new central heating boiler replaced on thur, worked ok till last night (friday) when I heard a ratteling sound coming from
the airing cuboard, when I investigated it had stopped.Been out all day today and when I got back the house was cold.
Checked all the rads and they where only just warm, except a small one which is located on the landing very near to the airing cuboard that is very hot, this rad does not have a thermo attached.Would I be right to think the pump as failed.
Any help apreciated as Ive got to try and get it repaired
