rules and etiquette
Fished a open match at a local fishery the end of last year, even number pegs were used on the day,i drew peg 4,permanent peg 5 was about 9mtrs left (empty obviously)peg 6 is about 13mtrs past peg 5 and was drawn by a local "top"? (legend in his own lunchtime angler) i started plumbing to the pallet on peg 5 and so did he! i said to him you are going too far by doing that, you should only go half way! and the argument started.he then called on the fishery manager to endorse his point of view (you know the sort of thing, ive been coming here for 10 years, thats always been the rule etc etc.......)just wondered what peoples thoughts were! was it bad etiquette, gamesmanship or just plain cheating?
