Matt,

Your on a very similar setup to me, although last year I got a bit obsessed with the Tubertini 801 thinking it was a bit lighter (for the winter) - I think it is a sharper hook but the 18 has a tendancy to straighten so I lost some confidence in them and went back to the 808's. If you know the fish you are going to be catching are all up to 2-3lb then the 801's are better for presentation - but I did tell Tubertini to make them in a 20 but they never bothered and stopped at 18 so its a bit pointless making a brilliant winter pellet hook and then not making them small enough!

Have to say that the sarfix line I have (Sarfix DNA) is the best stuff ever, only problem is getting hold of it as there is no longer a disti in the UK for Sarfix. The 0.10 is over 2Kg so its fantastic.

The B911 covers an awful lot of my rigs in the summer although I do wish they made a slightly wider gape version for caster, bit like the 808 really but the 808 I find does go blunt quite quickly.

As for down the edge I love my Tubertini 175's - don't think they can be beaten (or bent!) mind you I haven't put the purple hydro through my new pole yet and still slightly nevous about it - mind you gave some 10lb+ boys a load of bully the other day on black hyro so perhaps now is the time!
