With all due respect Brian , I've read through all the posts and nobody had said to get a Rive because their the most expensive , its peoples opinions after using the product and finding that they suit there needs . I certainly agree that they dont make you a better angler but what they do is make you more efficient and that will put more fish in your net over the course of a season . From owning an AS1 box to a rive is a massive leap and until you have used one on a few sessions you really dont appreciate the difference they make , you dont get the likes of Nuddy and scotthorne etc using them just because their nice to sit on .
