Hi everyone, I have just started fishing opens at Woodlands View Droitwich. I have been fishing pellet on the deck mainly, catching steady, but the guy opposite me fished shallow at 10 meters all match. He only caught about 8 huge lumps, but won the match with 95LB. I tried it but was biteless. I loose fed, pellet and fished pellet on the hook. 0.14 line and 14 hook.

Can anyone help me with fishing shallow. Big baits? Feeding frequency etc?? Am I looking at catch rate rather than sticking it out for the lumps?
