Ray peg back towards Bath from the swing bridge. It's not permanently pegged. Leave out the first 50yds (start of the 1st bend), so put peg 1 opposite about the 3rd or 4th permanently moored boat on the far bank. Don't put that first bit in as the boats pull over and moor to swing the bridge and take off again causing havoc up near the bridge. Peg 2 should be at the back of the blue boat with rushes and pipe behind it (this is a flier!!) Then peg away from here giving a good distance between pegs (about 30-40 paces) With up to 20 fishing there will be a few moderate walks but the further you walk the better it got in all the matches last season, I'd love a high number draw.
If you want to peg on the morning before the draw (as everyone gets their kit out the car) I'd help as it would only take about 15mins to stick down 20 pegs. Infact if everyone was in agreement about walking a bit I'd even leave out one length (3-4 pegs) that produced poor weights in each match last season. As it's more for fun (and about catching some fish) there's little point sticking in bad pegs on a small match! This could cause a bit of 'end peg' moaning from the match anglers but at least you won't be sat on rubbish pegs. You could put that to a vote on the day.
