i agree with pete when it comes to match anglers, we are the minority . trouble is we are also the noisy doer's in angling. because we compete against each other we have something to say about the way we fish. we also tend to run and organise most things, because we act as a group. go to any committee meeting and you will find very few non match anglers. therein lies the problem re numbers, to attract more people to the site they have to in turn want something ( or why else look) most pleasure anglers i know only fish for the fun of it and therefor don't spend that much time on angling when not fishing. so the answer is to improve your profile with the people that will eventually take notice, i.e. match anglers. be they open or club they are the only ones an angling site will attract in numbers.
