I think one of the reasons for the lack of information in this area, is the amount of data that needs to be entered is emmense, its not a one man job and would need a small team unless you do it regionally, and then of course you not covering all the ground. the other issue is you risk becomming a commercial enterprise that will need funding.

There are however a few ways to do this, the data could be collected from the groups that participate in the intersite matches, this would cover a huge area and a large database of users, the use of scripts would need to be implemented and it would have to be user driven with regards to data imput, this would then sort arrange and upload the data to the correct areas and in the correct format. there are some content managers that can deal with this but they need moderating, another time issue.

I know Simon is familiar with Joomla that will do the job quite nicely, it could be centrally driven and the main sites from the intersite could draw off the data as needed.

I was going to speak to Simon about something similar as I am fed up with hunting for open matches, another area thats not that well covered,

One things for sure it can be done but its far too big a job for one guy and a pc, and relies on users and accurate information.
