I would go for the Garbolino DC6 its cheap stable and works very well, if your new to commercials and pole fishing there is no point buying the real expensive floats, ( your going to break and loose a few)



That will deal with most of your general purpose fishing, maggots corn worms bread etc


You may want a few dibbers small floats for fishing down the edge these are good for pushing right into the reeds and are quite boyaunt so baits like corn and meat can be used with them quite easily.




These floats are very well priced and both average around £1.30.

Most floats are designed to catch anglers as well as fish hence all the pretty colours you wont go far wrong with the DC range
