Finally its been a big turnabout this week in where the fish have been caught.Apart from lees weight,no weights have showed on the fancied lower numbers, and good weights have come off unfancied pegs!Strange game this fishing. To the anglers who fished, thanks for your support, and to barry, ill slap peters knuckles for putting you on peg 16,see you next week.
cornerstone.

Three non weighers, but they chucked back probably 3lb,but knew they wouldnt coin so didnt bother the scalesman. Not a bad match again,at least its very close near the top,no big weight winning it.Top 6 all fished squat over g/bait and all caught plenty of small fish, mainly roach and big gudgeon.Dave lloyd has hit some form on this venue, alongside lee woodhouse, and merv rogers.Simon was a bit rusty as its his first canal session for a while, but still produced a weight off a peg that hasnt been producing.John fowler seems to catch from any peg,but strangely he must of caught the most fish but they were small roach, whilst other anglers caught the chunky ones.Chris rice drew the same peg as last week[he only caught 3lb last week]and had a good weight this time, strange game is this fishing.Dave lloyds peg isnt normally one you would run to.But rumour has it that when larry teapot won his section by double default off this peg,the G/bait mix he put in has just broke down, hence the influx of fish.Well done dave.Lee woodhouse had squat fish mainly, but managed to snare some roach on the hemp, just a few short of a winning weight, another good performance from lee. Finally merv had another good weight following his win last saturday. This week he had no skimmers but a lot of roach and great big gudgeon off an unfancied peg.Well done merv.
