The temps have dropped abit and are set to drop a few degrees more as the weekend nears,so just go steady with the feed.
I fished the open on the new pools yesterday and on certain pool and areas of the pool fished quite hard.
The winner had a fish a chuck (F1's) for 5 hrs for a total weight of 120lbs.
Made up of 80lb of F1's caught 13m, on the deck and up in the water alternating between meat and corn.
To had to his total weight, he also had 40lb of mirrors down he edge.
The sun was on his end of the pool when he got to his peg and the were plenty of fish there.
He said he caught well shallow while the sun was out, when the sun when into the cloud cover, he when on the deck and carried on catching.
He was up and down in the water most of the match.
There were a few 80lb's plus 70's and 60lbs/50's, people who struggled were on pegs that were either not noted pegs/avoid of fish, or out of the warmth of the sun .
Just like mine, I weighed in 34lb. lol.
