What a difference a week makes.Solid last week,with 3lb being last or there abouts,this week it was a good weight.Various reasons were discussed,spawning,hot weather,tighter pegging?.Anyhow chris rice isnt complaining.His first win for a while,very good weight on such a hard day.Better turnout of 22 anglers,some new faces,some older faces,sods law it would fish hard.10 no weighers,one of them chucked back a section win,but i wont mention who it was.Anyhow thanks to all who attended,and hope today hasnt put you off.

Sections won by Paul Downes,Ben Garbett,Harold Talton.I had an organisers nightmare where everyone in a section apart from the overall winner chris rice had gone home.After discussing the problem it was decided that the following anglers names went in a hat.Mal howard,paul murrin,alan homer,and dean guest.Lee woodhouse did the draw and the section is going via lee to Dean Guest.Couldnt think of any other way to do it,its the anglers money not our clubs,so it got paid out to an angler in the section.I feel sorry for anglers that had caught and collected nothing,but it wasnt in there section.I wont bore you anymore.
