Whatever - for telescopic the only way is to bang them hard onto a piece of wood on the floor making sure that the larger section is completely upright and you hold the thin section just above the joint.

For take apart you need 3 people believe it or not. Two hold the sections and gently pull but not twist. It is important that they don't twist. The third stands holding one section in one hand and the other section in the other. If that third person is you then you just gently roll the sections in a circular motion. Start off with a smallish roll and gradually increase it with the other 2 pulling. Again no twisting is involved and eventually the joints will part.
