Same thing has happened to me twice, first time at Stub Ponds a couple of years ago. On a lake where I had no chance of qualifying but I won the lake only to find that as there were 22 on it 2 sections of 10 and me and another bloke on a section with 8 from another lake which had much bigger wieghts.
The next time was last year at Monks lake I was the first peg on the lake where the winner and second came from and had the best wieght right round the lake to where they were sitting at the end of a split about 25 pegs. However, the far end of the lake below us was in my section and I lost out again.
The NFA organisers stick on the 10 anglers in a section, rather than the principal in an individual rather than team match, that in a section you are fishing against the anglers around you.
Any one got any influence with the NFA!!!!!
