I kind of agree with scott there
The thread title is fishomania end pegs, we are talking big money here and we are also talking in most cases big anglers,and some traveling halfway across the country to fish, in my opinion all the elements of chance should be taken out or at least reduced. obviously you cant account for wind which would be the next major factor
Take the final they are putting a bridge in for the cameras well thats fair enough but they will have created end pegs in a near perfect venue, put two bankers on the ends and thats cured the issue or cetainly reduced it.
for a 25k prize I would expect to see the very best of the best,
I read in a thread here yesterday Steve Ringer won his lake from an un rated peg only to get beat from a better lake, Im not sure thats right we can do a lottery at a local corner shop.
on the other hand its always nice to see an underdog take out the big guns
this is one of those no win issues unless every peg is netted off and your all fishing for the same amount of fish its difficult to cure
