I've got £500 to spend on a pole but no idea what to get so much has changed in the last 4yrs.

I fish my local clubs waters mostly, it will be used mostly small silvers up to 1lb-1 1/2lb with the occasional (very) tench up to 3lb.

I will be very rarely fishing commercials and/or for carp, and on the occasions i do i'll be using my old Maver Strong Arm.
As most poles i've seen advertised seem to be mostly for carp can anyone recommend a pole that will be suitable for what im doing.

My budget is a strict £500, i have plenty of bungs, connectors etc and i would like 14.5m or more.

What would you suggest?
