Heres my review from another site -

I've just brought one (May), have used it three times so far. With the match kits on its a really nice pole, stiff, responsive and perfectly able to tame the bigger fish. I had one 10lb and one 8lb the first time i used it and lost an even bigger fish.

The power kits do seem to unbalance ithowever, i brought another two before realy giving the pole a try and i regret it. I've since brought another three match kits and have put hydro in them. TBH, and it really doesn't bother me that much, at 16m with a powertop on it is quite sloppy, swap to the match kit and its a different animal.

The first time i used it i had to fish 16m to an island with a powerkit and it was hard work, it was quite gusty and it did cut through the wind quite well. But i cant help but think a match kit it would have been easier. But then again isnt that the same with all of the current top end poles too?

I brought the pole as an all rounder and got rid of a Spectron for this. I have to say i'm well chuffed and i cant wait to use it this winter for roach/skimmers and on the canal, it just has a good feel about it.

The spares are quite cheap and the difference betwen this and the 774 isnt that great. Ive even heard a whisper that if you put the super competition extensions on the 754 (they come as standard on the 774)you have pretty much the same pole. It would be something that i may look to purchase in the near future

About a month back Nathans of Derby were offering free elastication on all the kits if you got one from them so an added incentive there too.

Hope this helps , only just seen the post - was trawling around everywhere before i brought mine for a review.
