It could depend on where you're fishing. If you are heading to a big carp venue that will be tricky, you might need to look at a good rig to convert pick-ups into hook-ups.
If you are looking to fish on a commercial but with carp gear, your normal running bomb like you use on match gear will work just as well with bigger hooks, baits and lines.

Don't forget that in any field of angling, the most important thing it to feed in such a way and in the right area that fish are in the swim, want to compete for the bait and will pick up your bait. The kind of rig you use then becomes almost unimportant as long as it is up to the job of landing the fish you are targeting.
Just slide on a bomb or a controller, tie on a swivel, attach a hooklength to the swivel and tie a hook to the hooklength. That will work almost anywhere, just match the strength of line etc to the size of fish you expect.
