Folks like Ricky Teale may be right, this new rod may be a bit better than the last one, BUT! Who got everything out of the old one? Did any of the owners think I'm out performing my rod? I don't think so. Buy and use what is right for you, it may be an airity, or it may be the leeda assassin it's YOUR choice, not let the marketing men tell you what you need. Or for that matter the idiots at the Angling times, every week a wonder bait, rod, reel or rig.
Like everything else in life, do what You want, make yourself happy. I remember 20 odd years ago buying a Boss box like the stars had, I thought I might not be as good an angler, but my arse is as good as theirs! Great box
