I would take everything printed in the match section with a pinch of salt, just to give 2 examples when i was in the west mids i used to fish a silver fish venue that always put the amount of anglers present as 20 - 25 so the match would make the paper even when the average was 12. Secondly i recently fished a match near grantham and in the paper it had me winning the match on meat fishing to an island, in fact i won by fishing pellet down the edge. This was not a deliberate attempt to give false information i told the match organiser exactly how i had caught and between him and the paper it changed. There are lots of examples like this so talking to local experts is the best way to go.
