Default Fished it but a while ago

Hi Mate its been a long time since i fished the Liverpool Park lakes . However in my opinion Greenbank and Stanley Park were always the best of the bunch.

Greenbank Park is located in Wavertree not too far from Wavertree Playground. You can park quite close to the lake which is really more like a canal in shape almost cigar shaped with good far bank features to cast too. The predominate species to go for are the Tench which the pool has always produced in good numbers. Be warned that the lake is fished from dawn to dusk by kids during the summer holidays even @ 5am in the morning. Best to fish this pool when the little darlings are supposed to be at school. I always had success fishing straight lead and meat tight across to the features away from the constant bankside disturbance. Avoid maggots or caster or get bitten out by gudgeon and small roach . Sweetcorn also worth a go.
I must stress it is a couple of year's since i last fished the pool so it would be better to have a walk around and ask wot the crac is, but this should give u a general idea wot to expect.

Tight Lines

Scatty.
