I have been warned off park lake fishing due to reports I have heard of people having their tackle nicked by groups of youths who grab what they can and then leg it off with whatever they get there hands on! I know it's a sorry state of affairs when you can't even go to a local park and fish good lakes without worriying about what
might happen. It's not just a Liverpool thing either. I am origionally from Birmingham and my dad still fishes there, but now steers clear of inner city lakes. Edgbaston Reservoir being one of the place he used to enjoy fishing, but won't now for fear of intimidation from local youth
