I'm with Larry on this one, and unfortunately anglers are to blame I think. Too many of us moan that a particular venue doesn't have enough fish, so farmers / owners give in and invest in more stock, which is higher than that recommended by the experts. Then we fish stuff like meat, catmeat and a method evolves that needs' you to feed 7 - 8 tins per match, and like Larry says, much gets wasted and begins to decompose, which causes a lack of oxygen. And this in a water with more fish than the surface area of water can support!

If the media switch from battery chickens to Carp, there will be hell to pay. And one of the worst, if not THE worst offender, British Waterways, the state sponsored custodians of Drayton, Boddington etc.
This will blow up in the near future , I fear that WE will be seen as the villans.
