Weldec, fished the match today and winter as finally hit the wind was belting through and it was freezing. I fished lake 1 which as 3 islands at 15 to 18 mtrs away, it is stuffed with fish the majority around 4-8 oz so when i weighed 9lb-4oz it didn't seem much return for a hard days fishing in the teeth of the wind. Best weight was 25lb of carp to 6lb and the back up weights were around the 19lb mark.

The lads that fish these matches are friendly and it is a nice little fishery with 2 lakes with about 25 pegs per lake.

I learned a fair bit today so will go again when my shifts allow.
