Match Report
Dog Lane Fishery
Middle Lake
Napton Warwickshire

November 15th

Middle Lake 5 pegs

1st Pete Palmer (Dog Lane) Peg 6 6lb 3oz Pole/worm/Bream

2nd Dave Armstrong (Jets MG) Peg 5 4lb 14oz Pole/Pinkie over Joker/Silvers

3rd Simon Enticott (Jets MG) Peg 3 3lb 3½oz Pole/Pinkie over joker/Silvers

A further week of rain and the forecast of strong winds kept over half of those booked on for the match tucked up in bed. Suffice to say the weatherman got it wrong and the winds failed to appear.

First place went to Pete Palmer (Dog Lane Fishery) who drew peg 6 on the dam wall and winkled out three bream for 6lb 3oz on hair-rigged worm.

Second place went to Dave Armstrong (Jets MG) on peg 5 who coaxed out a nice net of roach and skimmers for 4lb 14oz on pinkie and maggot over joker.

In Third place was Simon Enticott also of Jets MG who drew peg 3 and managed to put together a net of gonks and a single carp for 3lb 3½oz.

All who fished agreed the fish were in the pegs but the very strong tow made presentation a challenge especially with the amount of debris pushing through.

There will be no more open matches until the New Year, keep an eye on the fisheries website for further updates. Welcome to Dog Lane Fishery
