I was wondering if any one knows of a good angling holiday site getting confused with searching the net My wife wants to paint our lounge will take 3-4 days as I am disabled I need to find somewhere within reasonable distance of Northampton with 2 bedrooms and lakes that are not too difficult to access I know 3 great places in Devon but do not want to travel that far also on a budget someone has recommended Docklow pools anyone been there please

Found a great place called westwood lakes Nr.Boston lincs 3 lakes and a great chalet Monday to friday 4 nights £208 they have a web site and seem to be most helpful will report back on how it goes 6th april-11th april this year they also cater for dogs asnd have a guests only lake regards Stewart

I fish the opens there on thursday's and sunday's 2 lakes are full of fish in the 2lb to 15lb bracket and any method can win on any given day, the other lake as silvers and f1's in the 10oz bracket out and out pole lake.

Westwood Lakes - The Lakes

The cabins look great i was fishing there about 4 weeks ago on a sunday about 10am and there was ice on the ground, i was all wrapped up when i looked over to a cabin there was smoke coming from what i thought was a barby when a bloke came out the cabin in his trunks. I was thinking he was tapped then his wife and kids followed and all jumped into a hot tub and spent an hour in it while we were all freezing. Mind you when they got out they soon shot inside the cabin.
