Default any english river fishing holidays

Most fishing holiday's I find are based round camp sites or farm's with stocked lakes for carp tench bream etc. Does anyone know of breaks where I can fish for chub & barbel on river's. I live near Darlington & fish the Tees & Swale but would like to try a midweek break on some of the notable river's down south eg. Kennet Avon or Severn for these species, Anyone know of any sites that can help with dig's on any of these venues or give advice on dayticket stretches.

Default english river fishing holidays

Try Canon Bridge House just outside Hereford on river wye. They are on a website. Great place, they have their own private stretch of river (bonus is that nobody fishes opposite!!)The house is fantastic and they do weekend and midweek breaks during the year. I would highly reccomend it. Woodys tackle shop is close by and he will put you right on any other venues you may wish to try. There is also a few ponds less than a mile away with good fishing if the river is unfishable. The owners are great as well (Tim and Alison) Been thereloved it and going again!!!
Hope this helps.
