Default Suitcase rod, any suggestions

OK, so I'm off on holiday and want to take a rod with me - any suggestions for one that will fit in the suitcase...

Default Suitcase rod

Depends on size of suitcase some telescopic models would fit the bill.

Depends what you are looking to fish for. I have one of the fox trekker rods which I have used all over south east Asia for everything from Mahseer in India as well as surfcasting and on the rivers Mekong and Kwai.
It is a little heavy for all round use but great for those exotic specimens.

If you're going to spain Simon you can pick one up cheap, I have seen a lot of local kids in Majorca using them.

the fox trekker rod is good, comes in 6 pieces in it's own tube, depending on the size of your suit case it should fit.

fox have also come out with a Bob James series of travel rods, though haven't seen them, so unable to say how good they are.
