Default Travel / Tackle Advice Re spinners / plugs

Guys,

Has any one tried traveling light through Airport security carrying varying assortment of spinners or plugs etc. I work abroad and through the nature of the business travel light, the postal system where i work is not reliable and hold baggage invariably arrives on a different schedule to me and ofetn being rifled though more often than not.

Hence I wondering how spinners and plugs fit with regard to security checks. I have seen the lost of prohibited articles and well, my interpretation is that such items are a little grey in interpretation...

Thoughts

Tim

Tim, the time before last when I travelled I had all my hooks, reels, lead shot and rod taken from me and placed in the hold. I know just put it all in a suitcase to save the hassle.
All the best,
Mike.

hi fella traveled all over the place and each time i have my gear in the hold of the plane. nothing can be carried at all with a point or sharp object that may be used as a weapon.
nor can you practice your casting in the isle neither
can you try your spinners out whilst crusing at 30.000 feet
tossing ground bait to see how far you can get it is not allowed
so so sorry getting carried away there.
mate apart from me messing around you would be far better in the hold even spray cans of 100mils or more are not allowed doederants etc .
dam it just climb in the suitcase and post yourself
