Default Junior National Championship entry extended

Entry date for Junior National Championships extended. Correction - date of competition is July 4th 2009

Entry date for Junior National Championships extended

The date for completed entries for the Angling Trust Cadets, Juniors & Intermediates Coarse Angling National Championship, held at Cudmore Fishery on July 4th, has been extended to Friday 19th June 2009.

The Championship has some of the top youth anglers in England competing. The anglers have progressed to take part in the England Youth trials and been selected to take part in the World Youth Championships. This National Championship is open to all clubs and organisations that are affiliated to the Angling Trust but it is important to note that competitors do not need to be individual members of the Angling Trust to participate in this event.

The Championship competition is made up of teams of 6 anglers and is open to boys and girls with a minimum age of 10 and a maximum age of 20. All competitors over 12 years of age must be in possession of a current Environment Agency Rod licence. Teams this year are not required to provide a Steward for this event. Practice opportunities are available at Cudmore Fisheries on weekdays and most Saturdays - contact Cudmore Fisheries on 01782680919 for more details.

Entry forms are available as a download on the Angling Trust website at Welcome to Angling Trust - The Voice of Angling, or competitors can ring the Angling Trust on 0115 9813535 and press option 1.
