Default ice cubes

is it possible to freeze liquid attractor and then put it in the water for a slow release as the ice cube melts??

Has anybody ever tried this??

Yes, when i used to fish the rivers a lad always made is hemp up days befor and froze it, come match day he hadn't defrosted it in time for the match and threw it in any way. Most of it came floating passed me and out of the swims. We didn't take the mick out of him much.

Make sure you freeze a stone into it so it sinks.

I read an article years ago about a canal crack who used to liquidise lobworms then mix them with the gravel you find in fish tanks then freeze them. At the venue he would throw them straight down the track. He used to catch well over them so maybe worth a go. Don't drop one in your pop though!

Default gelatine and flavours for hookbait

i have used flavours mixed with gelatine. just mix half a sachet of gelatine with some hot water and put flavours / colours in and allow to cool and set. you can even add small amounts of groundbait. Then you can punch pieces out and hair rig like a pellet. Apparently carp anglers did this years ago, but i tried it a few years ago and caught. The thing is to get the consistency of the geletine right so it leaches off flavour quickly. probably good on hard days as a low feed attractant.

see nxt message page 2
