Default Additives to pellets

In APF the June issue there is a guy claiming he pumps crusha milk shake syrup flavoring in to his pellets and that they work well when targeting Bream especially. He tells you what he does in a way, but does not tell you how he does it.
I would think he adds it to the water in the pump like you would with shop brought flavorings. If added to water how much do you reckon as i wouldn't mind giving it a try.

maver rich, thats the beauty of pellets, you can try any flavour with suprising results. ive had lots big bream on strawberry & ice cream 6mm expanders. Just a 5-10 ml spoonful in half pint of water with some red dye. Remember, fish are supposed to be far more sensitive to taste or smells than us.

another great additive is The Source from dynamite baits. It seems to bring a better stamp of bream in the swim. Again i just add 10ml to half pt / 20ml to a pint of water.Theyve just bought out a load of new pellets and groundbait of their own.

Cheers guys thanks for your responses. In the article he talks about using strawberry and chocolate flavour's separately and talks about how good the chocolate syrup is.
Just thought i could give it a go on my local commercial.
Is there any particular pellet which absorbs better or are they pretty much the same

Any light coloured pellet will take on colour well when pumped properly. Ringers are good for taking on colour as they are lighter, as i think are some of the vde elites? (got loads of pellets but cant remember) If you want to colour some of the darker pellets you may have to up the dose, depending on the colour you want, as i dont think dark pellets colour well anyway, but all pellets absorb flavour well when pumped.

Also if you want a firmer jellet type pellet, just dissolve half a sachet of gelatine to warm water then add your flavours and colours , plus pellets, and pump

Please accept my apologies as i am fairly new to pole fishing.

stkfloat, are you suggesting that he pumps them in just syrup and not added to water. I just thought he wasn't going to give away all his secrets in a mag, LOL.

ridgeacre, thats another flavour that i thought about making boilies with, again do you add it to water for corn or just soak them in pure syrup.

Breamster, thanks for your reply. I have thought about the jellies in the past.
