Default Fishing in the shade

It's our last major match for the year in 2 weeks, it's winter here now so we stop until Spring.

"Yes scared of the cold"

Our next match is going to be fished on a stretch of river 50m wide with very weedy & woody banks and overhanging trees, margins about 2 foot deep going down to about 20 foot, not much flow as there is a weir about 5 k's down.

Any suggestions on how to fish this with the pole and waggler. Target fish are mainly carp.

Sounds like a dead cert for pellets shallow. I would think the waggler may be best so you can chase them around.
Poss have a line down the edge for the pole? Pellets and corn dripped in and left until the last couple of hours.
