Default Bream

Hi guys ,ive been fishing a natural water for Bream that i use regularly.Ive been using Silver X and brown crumb to hold them, but it seems they dont hang around for long.I top up my swim when bites start to drop off.Is there any other additives or ground bait that i can use to give them a better attraction?

hi mate ive found that using the brown colour ground bait they tend to hold back ive been tryin super cup and the green swim stim mixed the green takes the sharp colour of the brown away and the first time using it i had 70lb on the slider from shattersford i think we can all get to confushed with the different bait these days mate and dont feed in a tight area bream love to spread out a bit you can add squatt and 2mm soft pellets the fishmeal ones am good the cats and dogs ive won plentty of matches on shatt usin them and i was the only one usin them so they must be good ha try the swim stim mate mixed with any other sweet groundbait hope this helps

Have you tried feeding soft balls over the top and fishing the bomb rather than the feeder - you can find that the bream will sometimes not settle with a big feeder landing round them and this may be what is spooking them off. Also you want to feed a diamond shaped area with your feeder - imagine a diamond where you are fishing say 2m across and 2m tall if you see what I mean.... then at the start of your session you cast alternatively to each point of the diamond in turn this then builds up a good spead of bait and allows a shoal to settle and gain more confidence as you are not always landing a feeder on top of fish that are trying to get their heads down and feed.... as the session goes on try and catch on the nearest and side parts of your diamond - the far point of the diamond will be getting odd bits of feed from overcasts and bits of crumb etc coming off the feeder when it lands on the splash.... if things go well you can move to fish the far point of the diamond in the last hour of your session and this is when the fish have built up alot of confidence and you find the rod going round every cast! This was taught to me by the great Ivan Marks and it has always served me well winning alot of money fishing for bream.
