What is the best way to do expander pellets. i do not like using my pellet pump and would like another method??

Try ringers, put them in a bait tin then cover them with water until they go soft enough for the hook, about 20 minutes it's takes.

just out of interest what type of pellet pump are you using that me be a problem beacause there are a few bad pumps on market

Put them in water for a few seconds the night before, then pun tin a bag blown up with air and sealed with a freezer tag. Next morning they will be ready to use, have a tub of water on your side tray to squeeze the pellets in as you hook them and make sure they sink. They will stay on better and sink slower. However, I do prefer hard, banded pellets most of the time through the summer, especially for up in the water.
