Dont use 1! I Put them in water for a few seconds the night before, then put in a bag blown up with air and sealed with a freezer tag. Next morning they will be ready to use, have a tub of water on your side tray to squeeze the pellets in as you hook them and make sure they sink. They will stay on better and sink slower. However, I do prefer hard, banded pellets most of the time through the summer, especially for up in the water.

pellet pump
hi guys, thanks for the reply's. nathan i always use a hard pellet for up as well, it was just the pump usage i was curious about, i have tried prepairing my pellets the way you do as well, but like vidas i find that they are to soft for the way i like them.
Vidas i think i know the pump you are talking about, it has a small soft plastic bottle, if i am not mistaken it is the same as the dick clegg one, i have used that one and it is very good, but only does a little amount at a time.
many thanks
dave

If you think they are too soft the way Nathan does them just do the same but add a little gelatine to the water - experiment with the quantity and you can get them exactly as you want them but putting them in the fridge over night.

How can they be too soft, I only soak them for a few seconds and then take them out of the water into the bag full of air, if anything most people would say they are too hard.

hi nathan i was just sayin that i uesd to do that before i got a pump like you did but as you said the next day they will still float untill squeezed in the water so i brought that pump i find pumpin 4mm for four to five mins then bag them they will sink slowly in the bottom few inches of water if you do them for a shorter time they will still float the next day, upinthewater mate the base is about 4 inchs mate and to be fare it does do alot of pellets mate after all they are only for hookers and how many times have we all pumped to many pellets and had to throw them away and if you am runnin short it a few mins to do a few more mate id recommend it mate best pump on the market
