Default paste

just got a few paste questions

does it get bites quicker or does it take longer then say corn as i have had ppl tell me both:| and confused

got any tips on good pastes? i want the best that you can reconmend as i need to start to gain confidence in it so good experiences would be helpfull

does paste work for silvers aswell? i do alot of silver fishing every day and do very good but if i can start building confidence in paste by using it with silvers i can build confidence in it quickly

thanx

In my opinion it takes a little longer to get them going on paste, but once you do it can be mad. Silvers will nibble at it and you can get the odd bream, but you wouldnt specifically target silvers, its really an out and out carp bait. As for different types, how long is a piece of string? All I would say is if your on a lake where you have to use there own pellets then make your paste out of them pellets as the fish will be on it. your better off experimenting with consistancy ie soft, hard but as I say its only my own opinion.
