I would have 1k of medium dendro's plus 4 pints of casters and a tin of corn. For big fish down the edge, dump in big cups of chop, caster and corn and fish a whole worm cut in half on a size 12 hook (both halves on th ehook but put the tail on first, it is more lively) to 0.18 line. Cup in after every two or three fish, but expect to get through most of your bait in five hours.
For fishing shallow or across, feed pinches of chop and caster through a Kinder and fish a 2" piece of worm head on a size 16 hook to 0.18 line.
Floats will depend on the depths you're talking about, but probably 4x10 and 4x12 shotted with a bulk of No10s set at half depth or 18" from the hook if it is deeper than 3'.
I would use a soft elastic so the fish can easily run out of the fed area when hooked, although a lot of them will not realise they're hooked until you lift the pole to net them because you will just lift the pole gently to set the hook and if the elastic comes out, ship back.
The venue sounds similar to one of my favourites, but although the carp run to 10lb, the average is 1 1/2lb and many of the regulars gear up too strong and miss out on the skimmers etc that make a lot of the weight. Using a No12 Vespe set soft, I land all the skimmers and tench plus most of the roach and rudd for a silver net of between 10 & 20lb and look to catch another 25 carp to make a 50-60lb net. On some days the bigger carp will show (they are usually in a certain area of the lake I'm talking about) and a much bigger weight can be done.
Have fun...
