just buy them what you dont use stick an an old washing up bowl with the dirt they come in then shred loads of paper leave it to soak in some water with some moss in for a bit then mix it with the dirt an then feed them a spoon full of mash potato no butter though mine av bin goin 4 months now every 2 weeks starve them for a week an they will breed ive got hundreds of eggs waitin to hatch at the min also keep the paper moist an keep the bowl or container in the dark an somewhere cool

Catching them - as a youngster at least - was half the fun.

Just remember not to actually pull them, just hold on to them, until they release the ground.

If you pull them, they might break, and then infect the others.

By far the best thing too do is get friendly with a local farmer - you need to buy the odd bottle of whisky but well worth it. Farmers usually have large dung piles and these are rife with worm - if you find the right pile that has been there a while you can get several kilos in half an hour.

one a bung is right i have a freind who has horses and he piles the horse crap up and i get the latex gloves on and yeah its quite easy to get a kilo of worm.another place i look are behind billboards where they take the paper off and just throw it behind them look under there mate the lob worms love it there and they are ideal for doing a load of chop i tend to use the ones out the horse crap for hookers!!!
