Default good knot for snap link

anyone know a good knot to use on my carp rigs to use with a quick change snap link.iv been using a simple overhand knot,just wondering if theres any better or are overhands alright.

i alway use the figure of eight it has never let me down and it has a 90-95% knot strenght

I would say the Palomar is the best knot for tying swivels, eyed hooks (assuming you don't need to use the knotless knot), split rings etc. It is very easy to tie as well as being strong.

cheers boys got some good knots off you there.tried them and i think am going to use the figure of eight it seems a bit stronger than the rest,many thanks
