If you fish the punch on rod and line look to use a small wag of 2 - 3 bb, and make sure it has a nice slim/fine tip. Drennan amke them, the old image floats are great, even a small crow quill is fine for this. Plumb up to fish the bottom of the nearside shelf, and maybe fish it just touching bottom or 1" off bottom. For feed, use liquidised bread or punch crumb, and start off with a ball the size of an egg and take it from there. I would feed a bit the size of my thumb nail each chuck once 5 mins have passed and see how you go from there. The boats are a pain, but keep at it. Where is wolverly?

Cheers...Mark

chop worm .....and punch are 2 methods to have a go at..not easy to fish a rod on cut because it will be towing with locks...... but persevering is the answer fish your rod tip with chop worm you will be surprised....and across when boats allow
