also could you advise on any other pellets that soften well when water added to them.

im thinking of softening 3mm for f1 fishing

Ryan, you can get any hard pellet to go nice and soft .... an easy way to do it is mix some groundbait in a bucket the night before fishing... add your flavours at this point and make it quite a wet mix NOT SLOPPY though, just a bit more water than you would normally as if you were going to use the GB to fish with. Then add a bag of your pellets you want to soften and mix well. Now pat the mixture flat and put a piece of damp newspaper on top. Leave over night in your garage and in the morning riddle off the pellets - jackpot! Don't tell anyone else this little secret though!

Do you also have a use for the over-wetted GB or does it have to be binned

The pellets and the GB will absorb the moisture making it good to use, you might have a to add a little bit more water on the bank.

Ryan

All the GOT pellets can be flavoured with a bit of preparation. The easiest are the 4mm expanders. Simply add the flavour to the water and pump. If you want a strong flavour then add less water and more flavour. Bag them up overnight and they will be fine. The same can be said of the 6mm but i see you want a smaller bait.

For feed pellets use the Atomic Cloud and pour the liquid over the pellets and drain off after about a minute. They will go soft but not soft enough to hook.

I use skrettings pellets and all it takes is 2 minutes soaking drain off and then bag them and put in fridge over night. They will stay together and are easily hooked. At £1 a kilo not bad.
