Default Feeder Maggot's.

Hi any one have any idea of the best way to keep squat's for fishing can you put them in anything else other than the brown clay stuff. cheers john.

Hi mate,
Keep them in the sand supplied and put a damp piece of white bread on the top, they seem to keep better. They will ball up nicely for you to grab at and will plump up a bit too.

just keep them damp.

If you buy decent squatts in the first place then they will keep by being kept moist.

I riddle the sand off them and put them in fine peat which is damp , doesn't get allover like the sand

Like the lads say, bucket with large surface area - two slices of white bread dipped in milk! Nice fat squatt for the next day!
