What I can't understand is why they have changed so much if they have only stopped the bleaching agent.
They were great because after pumping they could be cast on a waggler over a long distance without coming off the hook. Now they just go mushy which makes them useless. The colour was not the main reason I used them, it was the fact that they stayed solid when soaked. The new ones are the same colour as most other pellets but fall apart.
I'm going to try and soak some new ones in an diluted egg solution and then dip them in hot water like a boilie to see if I can harden them up. Will let you know if it works!!!!!!

Default Any get hold of Ringers Cold Water pellets

A bit late this reply Fred but if you want pellets to use on your waggler pump them using gelatine. Mix the gelatine as directed on the packet and leave to cool until lukewarm then pump your pellets. Drain them out and put into a plastic bag, inflate the bag by blowing into it then seal it and leave to cool overnight after shaking gently to seperate the pellets.
An alternative to gelatine in summer is to use fruit jelly, I find strawberry or pineapple very good. Give it a try as you may be surprised how well it works.

isn't the success of these pellets down to them being soft and bright? henze perfect for winter?

as i can think of i don't think there is a expander on the market that goes white when pumped like ringers did...if i'm wrong please correct me.........

i thought this was the case thats y i am now after polar ice feed pellets but paying over £10 for a 800g bag is out of order when ringers used to be £2.49 for the same 800g bag utterly ridiculus

I dont think the Carp Vader products can be compared to the Ringers products, the polar ice hookers are pre pepared and compare in price with other ready mades, the feed pellets are £3-25 for a 800grm pack maybe slightly more expensive than other makes but they are different so that may be the reason, they certainly are not £10 a pack, and no I am not sponsored by Carp Vader.

no worries brian i know your not sponsored by CV.

the pellet bieng that price doesnt matter to me, i love CV and think there baits are top notch and would payer £4 a bag if i needed to its just add the price to the p&p and it is £11 wich is out of order i feel.
